Basic Kneads Pizza at the Flying Dog Tap Room tonight!

It’s Friday, and you deserve a beer. You also need pizza. I mentioned yesterday that Brava! would be having a happy hour special tonight, but if you need options when it comes to great street pizza and beer, you got it! Eric and the Basic Kneads Pizza crew will be baking up hot za at the Flying Dog Tap room (2330 Broadway – which is at that weird intersection of Boradway, Arapahoe, and Park Ave – map here) tonight from 4p to 6p. And if you’ve been growing a garden this summer, Eric is making you an offer you can’t refuse: ”Bring tomatoes from your garden and we’ll bake ‘em onto your pizza…best way to eat tomatoes (well, short of raw in the garden and on a BLT).” My question: How about a BLT Pizza? Maybe next week! Not that you need more encouragement, but I’ve tried Basic Kneads pizza – though admittedly after a few too many beers – and it was freaking fantastic!
So, do yourself an end-of-the-week favor and head over to one of these establishments and grab some great food from these awesome street food purveyors, and don’t skimp on the beer.
I Love Beer and Denver Breweries
As a side note – can I just say that I absolutely love that our Denver breweries are digging the street food scene so much? To my knowledge, Great Divide has hosted both Comida <drool> and Basic Kneads, not to mention their part in the inaugural ball of the Justice League. And now Flying Dog! I like this trend.
