The Weekend Preview

2 beer and pizza happy hours?! I'm smiling, too.

I know we don’t have it all listed, so please feel free to fill us in using the comments. Where else can we find great street food this weekend?

Friday night pizza happy hours

  • Brava!: As previously mentioned, Brava! will be serving up Peronis and Pies for cheap at the clocktower on the 16th Street Mall and Arapahoe
  • Basic Kneads: Also previously mentioned, Basic Kneads is pairing up with Flying Dog Ales to provide another street pizza + beer opportunity at the Flying Dog tap room at Broadway/Arapahoe/23rd.

Saturday

  • Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market: A perennial favorite, you can be sure to find the Biscuit Bus, EVO Bean, Pinche Tacos, and more here – as well as fresh produce. Find them in the west parking lot of the Cherry Creek Mall from 8a-1p.
  • Stapleton’s Sweet William Market: This is “an open-air vintage, antique and art market that occurs on the last Saturday of every month from May through September” and we know that the Cupcake Truck will be there, and probably some others!
  • Commfest: On the Paris on the Platte Promenade, this event will feature music from a. tom collins (if you haven’t heard them, these guys are a ball of talent and energy!), food from Deluxe and donuts from Sugar Lips (donuts!!)
  • Green Route Festival: This celebration of “Local food, music, art and culture” will feature music from The Rouge and Air Dubai, as well as food from Steubens and more. They’ll be on 26th between Blake and Larimer. Tickets are $12 in advance, $20 at the door.

Sunday

Farmers Markets at the City Park Esplanade and Stapleton: We know that Deluxe’s Little Orange Rocket usually shows up at the City Park Market – along with a bunch of people selling fresh produce and tamales, but we have no idea who shows up at Stapleton. Anyone?

So… What and where else?
