Another great, albeit hot day at Civic Center Eats. Today’s highlights: An awesome sandwich from Paris On the Platte (stay tuned for more on that), and little pieces of deep fried sugary heaven from Sugar Lips Mini Donuts. Sweet trailer and even sweeter fare from these folks. Check out that get up! (And yes, I mean both the trailer and the dress!)
I brought back a dozen and a half minis to the office, some dolled up in powdered sugar and some rolled in cinnamon sugar. My coworkers descended, and all 18 donuts were devoured within minutes to a resounding chorus of something along the lines of “Holy crap! MINI DONUTS! NOM NOM!” Seriously. These may be my new favorite midday sweets. And I can’t believe I’ll have to wait until next Tuesday for more.

Agreed, Leanne! Looks like we’ll have to wait til Sunday to see The Donut Hole hitting the streets again, though. Sadness! But The Pearl Street Farmers Market seems to be their plan for Sunday! Breakfast!
